The transparent men are actually strange agents sent by an devilish bad guy. They intended to speak with the party to try to get them to help them get the Forever Stone so the one who spoke, bit his own tongue and composed himself before responding to Fid's action. Now that the party has declined the offer, a group of transparent men will be surprising them later in the adventure when they least expect it. The transparent men are a made up creature that function like invisible rogues. They can turn invisible at will. They wield duel shortswords and can sneak attack. (More spoilers: The party has a deed/map to the tower. A group of transparent men were already at the tower, but they could not get past an electrical trap around the stairway on the first level. They need the deed to bypass the trap. Now they are just going to wait and follow the adventurers to see if they can get past the trap. In the final room of the tower, when the party has gotten them up to the top near the Forever Stone, the transparent men will try to take it anyway they can.</p></blockquote><p></p>
