She watches it religiously and therefore at times I'm caught up in it because I want to relax in my lounge and watch TV....any TV. Actually I just want to relax most of the time and the TV is on because that's what happens in the lounge when it's just me and my girl......and she has the the TV rights 99% of the time which is fine by me.Back to the , sort of, present:The point I DO want to make is that the British public have got to be a bunch of freakin' morons/idiots/humourless/jerk off/masochists........Please let me explain.....2 series ago some guy from one of the little islands that plague the area near Scotland won 'Big Brother'. He wasn't funny and he sounded like the 'Little Britain' character the 'Only gay in the village'. Now he wasn't gay, he was just deeply religious, (not that I'm making a point there, it just was quite prominent), but he wasn't funny, he wasn't even vaguely amusing, he was just NICE in that sick, horrible way which probably won him the old granny/mothering vote. IMO it was just WRONG. The silly t**t couldn't even be selfish enough to spend the money on himself, in fact he donated it or bought something to/for his local church........jerk!1 series ago and a transexual from Portugal won 'Big Brother'. She/He wasn't funny either. All she did was whine and cry about not having any freakin' cigarettes and the only funny thing to result from her character was the fact that a couple of the other male characters didn't realize she was a bloke for a while and were, sort of, entertaining ideas for a very short time. Point being, she was NOT entertaining in the slightest. She just wanted to make me puke to be quite honest and not because she was transexual but because she was a transexual and going on prime time TV to let everyone know about it/whine about not being accepted or something like that.This current series, and what caused this post, is the current eviction nomination of a guy called Maxwell, possibly one of the most hilarious characters I've ever seen on 'Big Brother' and somebody that's made me actually want to watch the bloody programme when I do want to realx in my lounge! The guy is a very funny cockney lad, always got a quick quip and is far more entertaining than the rest of the others combined.But he got evicted...........WHY?He was up against a coloured lad by the name of Science who to be fair was a typical 'brother/boy from the hood'. Not being funny but if you listened to him a million films might spring to mind. My point with him being he wasn't funny either, just a stereotype that I've seen/heard plenty of times before.Now before I get totally slated, it doesn't end there by ANY stretch of the imagination it's just that Science was the guy up against Maxwell so he came first for the 'dissing'.The other housemates, (well nearly all of them), are equally horrific. Let's see if I can go thru the lot of them:1. Anthony - The Geordie womanizer, he's ok but really needed Maxwell to even take notice of. His shining moment was getting it on with Makosi and Orlaith which provided a VERY entertaining 1/2 hour but I'll get into that in just a second.2. Craig - Young gay lad that cries every 5 minutes. Has possibly said 2-3 funny things in his time in the house. He's ok and that's even after I saw his intro in the house in which he portrayed himself as a total jerk.3. Eugene - Late coming male cry baby; not really worth mentioning.4. Derek - Oldish, coloured, gay guy, member of the conservative party. Respect for this guy, he's gay but doesn't stick it at you, you just know. However he's another that's said one or two funny things but that's it.5. Vanessa - Female, coloured girl. Totally dippy and sucks up to anybody who shows the smallest amount of authority. She's also TOTALLY devoid of any humour. Bye Bye.6. Makosi - Female, coloured girl. As much as I dislike her, she plays a pretty good game and she's hot. She's in it to win and the audience knows it. I still don't like her though, just rubs me up the wrong way. She is actaully quite funny.7. Orlaith - Female, Irish girl. Have you read the recent bloke rant thread? Well Orlaith would be a prime candidate for one of the suckiest women going, (and unfortunately I don't mean that in a literal sense). One evening she's getting Anthony to suck her upper regions after he's only asked for a kiss! Ok no problem there, however the following morning she's virtually slating him etc. etc. Don't get me wrong, she's damn hot however I wouldn't touch her with a nuke! She's not funny, just something that rhymes with runt.Ok I think this is the last one......8. Kemal - Male, young and gay.....very gay......in fact so gay that when they took a poll asking for all the gay people in the world to put in a vote, he constituted 38% of it!!! I actually know a guy like this who has to be REALLY gay, in fact so much so that in his opinion, every bloke on the planet is gay. He tries to get it on with every bloke who ever turns up at his house.Enough of the character descriptions from my point of view then. If anybody has taken offense so far to what I've written then I apologise, that wasn't my point but I'm sure some people out there will read it otherwise.What I'm trying to get at is what the British TV watching public must be thinking??? Are they all freakin' mad? Do they need a gimmic? Someone please explain this to me. You've got a potentially quite funny TV reality show however the 'public' vote votes out all the funny people leaving all I can describe as gossip material in!Once again I didn't mean to offend anyone in this post however I'm not responsible for who BB puts on TV.D out.</blockquote>
