This spell causes you to grow, doubling your height and multiplying your weight by 8. This increase changes your size category to the next larger one, and you gain a +4 size bonus to Strength and a +2 size bonus to Constitution...

Does it mean a Small creature becomes Medium and a Large creature becomes Huge and so on??

So a Giant cleric can become reaaaally big and a gnome cleric can become normal??

I somehow got the idea that the maximum size you could attain was large. I think because of the size bonuses should be different if growing from Huge to bigger.

Any help?

Right.

He's bloody enormous for a gnome!

The spell grants a fixed size bonus, regardless of which sizes you're moving between.

To put it in context, the average gnome is 3'4 and weighs roughly 40 pounds. Double that height and he's 6'8, multiply the weight times eight and he now weighs 320 lbs. At that point he'd practically be goliath-sized. He's essentially gone from Billy Barty to Hulk Hogan. :)

are there any of these that stack? Just how big can you get? I want a collasal gnome in my next game!

Well there's Giant Size (Oriental Adventures, Complete Arcane) which may grant a fixed size instead of a step increase, up to Gargantuan I believe, but it's a 7th level Wiz/Wu Jen spell. A Cleric could cast it with Miracle though.

The easier way is a Psychic Warrior with the Expansion power which could get a gnome up to large.
