He was surprised when I noted that according to the RAW, items like the 'Ring of Invisibility' require activation. We decided it made more sense that way, and so the same goes for the 'Ring of Blinking'. We've also decided to assume that the listing in the DMG for a Ring of Blinking's caster level as 7 was a mistake, and so the ring will have a caster level of 5 (as standards, and the formula for cost of the ring suggest). It's not a big deal in my book, but it makes sense when you look at the nearly 100% cost increase over formula cost for a Ring of Invisibility (according to formula, it should be 10,800gp, not the 20,000 listed - and so a premium on it must exist).</p></blockquote><p></p>
