I reckon that you'll get a minimum caster level version of whatever you put in.  A maximised Magic Missile cast from a Ring of Spell Storing will do 5 points of damage, not 10, and not 2*(d4+1).Of course, all this assumes that I have correctly understood the description of the Ring of Spell Storing.  I might have to put this to the Sage...</blockquote>
