Have I protected you?"</span> He wheels around to see the party, and sees Haruka standing in the midst of the cirlce of dead vegetation. <span style="color: Olive">"What... what has happened here...?"</span></p><p></p><p>Suddenly the sigils in the iron rod flare red-hot, matched by the sudden burning of Ironheart's eyes. <span style="color: Red">"YOU!"</span> the tree roars. <span style="color: Red">"YOU did this!"</span> With two great strides it crosses the marshy ground to enter the ring of devestation, brandishing the axe. At the last moment it halts its swing. <span style="color: Red">"This axe cut down the grove I swore to defend,"</span> it hisses. <span style="color: Red">"THIS axe bit deep in their bark and opened their hearts to the air!"</span> It raises the axe one-handed and shakes it in Haruka's face. <span style="color: Red">"Now you have done the same! Every shrub, every blade of grass that you've murdered, had a spirit that cries out for vengeance! Why did you do it? WHY? Tell me now why I should not break my oath again, and CUT YOU LIMB FROM LIMB?"</span></p><p></p><p>(Wait, didn't this axe come from the hollow tree? Ironheart left his original axe on the bank...)</p><p></p><p>[sblock=OOC]</p><p>I know social skills don't work on other PC's, but what the hell.</p><p></p><p><a href="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2328439/" target="_blank">Intimidate (1d20+7=22)</a></p><p>[/sblock]</p><p></p><p>[sblock=Resting and Levelling]</p><p>I'm ok with a skill challenge, I'm trained in Nature.</p><p></p><p>Will it screw up the balance if I spend some DM credits to jump to Level 3?
