[QUOTE="JoeNotCharles, post: 5072553, member: 79945"] [sblock=OOC] Ok, I think I should mark and push the dragon - if it tries to follow you I can use Warden's Grasp to slow it. No, wait. I can't do that on a move - only if it attacks you. Which is no good, argh. Ok, if I push it away from you so you can run, *and* I stay adjacent to it, then I get an OA if it tries to chase you, in which case I can slow it with Sudden Roots - if I hit. Except if I push it, I can't shift to follow, so I won't be adjacent. If I *don't* follow it, you can stand and shift, and then it just shifts away from me and attacks you (or doesn't bother to shift - it has Reach 2, right?) Then I can either attack it as an interrupt, which is useless since I won't disable it so it still gets its attack, or I slow it as a reaction, which lets you get away next turn if you survive, which you won't. Also useless. If I attack the panther, we all get hit with Prismatic Breath again, which will kill Ikni but *probably* not the rest of us. Unless either he drinks his potion now, or you use Life Transference. Or he shifts to T12 and attacks the dragon. Argh. I don't like the Life Transference plan - it's risky since if something prevents you from being revived, we lose, and it makes Rhole or somebody waste an action pouring potions into you when you could be attacking. I tihnk the best idea is for everybody to just beat on the dragon this turn to get hp back, have Ikni transfer his mark to the panther since it doesn't have multi-attacks, and hope we survive the next round of prismatic breath. (Maybe Ikni should even drink the potion now to ensure it.) Then next round we hopefully won't start prone, so we'll have enough mobility to pile on the panther and also get out of the dragon's way.
