Presumably healed. He’s a great character that gets into the thick of things without any of the smugness that comes from Legolas style of elf. In fact I think most of the elves in this lack the smugness that we saw in the various Mirkwood elves from the films.Celebrimbor has it a little at the start but we see it ripped cruelly away. Galadriel is too driven to be smug, Elrond too kind to be smug, even Gil Galad is more worried than smug, particularly as the series progresses. There is a sense of gravity to all the elves that I prefer to the way they were sometimes portrayed in the films.Every time Arondir shoots an arrow at someone it feels like he’s doing it to save someone he cares about. Legolas was just playing a game/showing off.</blockquote>
