A ritual foci is a specially designed implement for use with rituals of a certain type. They are used to provide the magical energy for a ritual without the need to expend components. A ritual foci can only be used with rituals of one type (Arcana, Heal, Nature or Religion) and only with rituals equal to or less than the foci's level. For example, a level 5 Arcana foci can be used with any level 1-5 Arcana ritual.

If you use a ritual foci with a ritual, you ignore the component cost of that ritual. It does not replace other costs (such as healing surges) or any other focus required by the ritual.

Any idea about the price? I've ballparked some prices by adding up the component costs of all rituals up to that level * 5 (assuming that each ritual will be used about 5 times up to that point).

Level 5: 2,500 gp (level 6)
Level 10: 15,000 gp (level 12)
Level 15: 45,000 gp (level 16)
Level 20: 140,000 gp (level 20)
Level 25: 550,000 gp (level 24)
Level 30: 800,000 gp (level 25)

Seemingly, it gets way too cheap towards the end, due to the lower number of rituals at the upper scale. But I like the trend, so a price about two levels higher than the ritual focus seems to be close, giving us this:

Level 5: 3,000 gp (level 7)
Level 10: 15,000 gp (level 12)
Level 15: 64,000 gp (level 17)
Level 20: 350,000 gp (level 22)
Level 25: 1,750,000 gp (level 27)
Level 30: Artefact
