The experience of loss, and the effect it had on her family, gave her a sense of purpose that propelled her into medical school and continues to drive her this day. Everything has a cure; there is no infection or malady that cannot be remedied. As such, she is studying pathology in particular, though this soon out of her residency she's not any kind of specialized physician.Lately, in making her rounds, she saw an unusual dip from night to night among a few patient's charts. It seemed intermittant and non-threatening, and there didn't seem to be a pattern. She had nearly forgotten it when she noticed it again while covering for a friend's shift one night. Now a little suspicious, Angie started going over the charts of patients that were not under her specific care...and there the pattern lay. Carefully arranged so that no one doctor would ever have much cause for alarm, a rotating, repeating 'schedule' of patients had these unexplained blood pressure dips. What caught her eye was that each time, the amount of the decline was nearly the same; something that couldn't be natural across a wide spectrum of patients and conditions.She suspected someone was illegally taking blood, possibly for use on the black market, and began to carefully try to figure out the pattern, so she could predict the next victim and catch the perpetrator in the act. Though savvy enough to have decorum about it, her zeal on the matter gets in the way of her participating in the politics of hospitals and healthcare, and will probably cause her some trouble someday. As a doctor she is gentle but firm; taking pains to reassure patients and families, but never at the cost of decieving them. Equipment---------Angelina enjoys a comfortable lifestyle, as her tastes are modest and her income as even a young doctor is decent. She has a small one-bedroom apartment, a used compact car, a laptop computer and a few ameneties. She's fond of photography and videography as a hobby, and has a quite nice digital camera she sometimes carries with her in rare moments when she's off duty, just in case a good photo op presents itself.Ally - Dr Braden LewisThe physician who oversaw her residency, Dr Lewis and Angelina share a great deal of professional and personal respect for one another. He's a senior physician on the hospital staff and as such has as much influence as a non-administrator can wield.
