Toritaka managed to overpower one of them, in return receiving a serious wound, which was later healed by  Iuchi Kaiji.Upon catching sight of our Shugenja, the remaining two bandits took to flight due to them fearing the „Wrath of the Kami".At this point Tsuruchi Michiba brought another of them down.I declined Iuchi Kaiji‘s request to pursue the fleeing bandit alone on his horse, since we did not know whether further ambushes lay down his path of flight.The bandit we brought with us was kept alive to be questioned.This is my report, Gunso-Sensei!"</blockquote>
