Rather than keep posting in this older thread ( Rolemaster Unified Releasing December 3rd ), I thought I'd start a new one for updates on Rolemaster publications. All are available on DriveThruRPG.
The new version of Rolemaster, Rolemaster Unified (RMU for short), has been rolling out. This includes Core Law (published 2022), Spell Law (2023), Treasure Law (2024) and Creature Law I (2025).
This week they also published the Shadow World Conversion Guide, which has stats for all the old Shadow World races, rules for converting older edition stats to the new edition (they're roughly compatible, with a few tweaks), the Astrologer and Seer Professions updated for RMU, and a standard NPC table. It is a free download.
There are now also full versions of RMU on Roll20 and Foundry VTTs.
Looking ahead, the following books are in the pipeline:
--Character Companion, which has new Arms user classes such as the Assassin and Barbarian, new talents and fighting styles, and a more in-depth guide for using various skills.
--Creature Law II will include the more exotic creatures as well as the rules for making creatures by applying archetypes (e.g. stealth, discipline) to creatures.
--Arcane Companion introduces Arcane magic and brings back many of the old Arcane classes.
--Wilderness Companion adds new wilderness classes and spells, as well as some new spells for existing wilderness classes.
I will post here when any of these come out. Feel free to ask any questions too, and I'll do my best to answer.
