Roll players

The two things i like most about DnD is killing the bad guys and getting to be someone different for a little bit, so i make a a guy/girl who i think would be fun to be in real like (roll play). what are some of the guys youve done this with??

(isn't this better off in General?)

I roll both ways. I have played characters that are similar to my personality, and those who are totally opposite. Usually, I play someone closer to my own personality, but occasionally, I get the opposite gender, wild, risk taking, slow talking totally different from myself.

All my characters are female, look like Megan Fox and fondle themselves quite often.. Is it stuff like that, that you mean?

Man I hope you look like Megan Fox RL and play that out at the table...

I've played chars that were younger/older than myself, of the opposite gender, and with differing attitudes/morale and of course of different race.

What I have noticed so far is that most chars have a trait in common with my RL self even if I try to act differently, it sooner or later happens.

I like to note that it is quite fun to play someone that is really different from you're RL behaviour. Anyway playing a fighter or wizard is totally different from your RL self so changing your behaviour along the way might be a nice addition.

I hope you enjoy your new character.

I make no apologies playing characters that allow me to work out my own frustrations.

That's why my characters are always trouble makers, usually of the big tank variety (dragonborn, warforged, etc.) though I do play a 'striker'-type cyborg street samurai in Shadowrun and a squishy gun-toting pilot in Star Wars.

Basically my criteria are:
*Is it over 6' 4" and something insane like a robot man or dragon man?
*If not, does it possess skills worth starting trouble with (mad piloting skillz and high Reflex / four initiative passes per turn?)

And my role-playing choices are:
*How much damage can my character take and live?

Surprisingly, this butt-dumb approach to play has been very rewarding. I've defeated a Sith Lord two levels higher than me in a gun vs. force lightning battle and defeated 4 Chinese gangsters in 3 seconds and KO'ed myself with a Bloodclaw weapon power at the exact moment I've smacked a dragon into defeat.
