Eeeeeeeew... Str: 7 (-2) Kinda Scrawny... Dex: 9 (-1) Clumsy Too... Con: 11 (+0) Nothing special. Int: 12 (+1) On the bright side of average Wis: 6 (-2) This would lead him to be too smart for his own good Cha: 5 (-3) And annoying as all Hell to boot. So, a character like this could be a Wizard (provided anyone has the patience to teach someone this headstrong and annoying). But he'd be limited to second level spells. At least until fourth level (assuming he somehow survives). Whereupon he'd have access to third level spells in time to reach fifth level. He'd be delayed in getting fourth level spells until eighth level (yes, we are stretching the probability of this character's survival). And would be a full spell level behind the curve at twelfth level. Of course witha base AC of 9, and only a meager number of spells to supplement that, this guy is probably a very annoying know-it-all librarian who routinely tests the Paladin's alignment strictures. I'll do one more just for kicks. Str: 7 (-2) Must of been something bad in the milk where these guys grew up. Dex: 14 (+2) Hey! a bit of talent! Con: 10 (+0) I won't complain, we are slaves to the bell curve here. Int: 13 (+1) Smarter than the average schmuck. Wis: 8 (-1) A little impulsive, but not fatally so. Cha: 7 (-2) Coupled with the low wisdom, I'll call this low Cha a self-esteem problem. The type of moron who would do almost anything on a dare, despite his better judgement. Though there is an outside possibility for Wizard here, we still run into the same lack of potential as the earlier character. Rogue is the much better way to go here. Why, this guy would get Eight skill points per level, if human. I'd give him even chances of making it past third level (not when compared to the 4d6 drop the lowest crowd, or the purchase your stats with points crowd, but for the 3d6 folks, he's not a bad character). We'd probably want to take the toughness feat with this character. the extra three hit points are critical to his survival. And give him a Crossbow. Don't EVER expect him to use so much as a knife, even at dinner. That Strength inicates he has a rough time slicing bad cuts of meat.
