How many times do you roll dice? Count one throw as a roll, even if you have many dice in your hand. That is, 10d6, in one handful throw is one roll.

11-50 sounds about right for me. Interesting poll. Care to elaborate on its purpose?

On average more than 10 times for sure. I'd say around 11-50.

Varies wildly, depending on which character I'm playing.

Low-level PC, maybe 20 or so, between attack rolls, damage rolls, saves, and skill checks.

I just had a game in which I was playing my 19th level paladin. Easily over 100 rolls there, just between attacks and damage (she fights two-handed, and gets 6 attacks per round).

No idea. I use both physical dice and a program (for lots of rolls).

What's the purpose? I could modify the program to count...

Hmm, interesting.

Depends on what campaign. (we have 3 active right now. + a Shadowrun game)

In the lower level games, I'd say 11-50 is likely close enough.

My level 16 Fighter/Swordsage/Dervish is considerably higher. Dual wielding + haste. That's eight attacks. Figure half hit. (Actually more, but...) that's 4 damage rolls. 12 rolls per round. A 5 round combat makes 60 rolls. If we get 3 encounters in... 180. Plus saves, spot, searches, d% for my boots with Rod of Wonder effects... Could concievably hit 500 or more on a good night.

Average is likely 100-200ish.

When I was in high school I could roll the bone continuously for 4 hours, easy. Now that I'm older (and engaged) I find that I get a lot more enjoyment out of deep immersion role playing.

I prolly average one roll per minute or more. I'm the dm.

Probably 50-100 on a light day but I;m the DM and recently it has been much higher because the players are in a little bit of a meat grinder (3.5 updated KoTB). Last session they waded through 50+ skeletons and zombies.
