Are there polytheistic churches older than the Lothian church?I'm also interested in hearing more about this.  I know relatively little about how Romans viewed the stars and sky.  However, IIRC, for modern man it wasn't until the last century or two that the scientific establishment believed in the regularity and power of thinks like comets and meteors falling from the sky.  I'm guessing in your setting falling stars and the like will be important, correct?
