[h=3]The Star on the Shore – A Call of Cthulhu RPG Module by Dark Cult Games[/h]
(Campaign Ends : Wednesday 1st February 2017; 03:00 UTC)

The Star on the Shore – Struggles Against Evil in 1920s New England is the first Call of Cthulhu Adventure module by Dark Cult Games. Suitable for new players, as well as veterans, The Star on the Shore is a sandbox adventure set in a small coastal town with over 30 NPCs to interact with. “Some are helpful, some are oblivious and some are hiding in plain sight. A strange unexplained astronomical event, a stolen statue, a murder of crows, and a cryptic clue lead you and your fellow investigators to a quiet vacation town that is far more sinister and deadly than it appears.”

“The story is a blend of real history and fiction that gives the story a life of its own. The adventure is the result of two years of research, writing and play testing. The real history is fascinating and flows right into the mythos world with very few changes. The more you discover, the deeper you are drawn toward you own insanity.”

[h=3]The Gods Have Spoken (5th Edition RPG Supplement) by John WS Marvin (Dead Unicorn Games)[/h]
(Campaign Ends : Tuesday 31st January 2017; 19:11 UTC)

The Gods Have Spoken introduces twenty-eight new fantasy gods, in three new pantheons, into your 5th Edition games, along with new domains and player options suitable for the pantheons involved.

The Old Gods – The followers of the Old Gods were long ago forced out of their lands and into the wild places. Today druids and elves keep the faith alive, while cults of the Old Gods seep back into the teaming cities where once they were banished. The world tree and nature are central to the pantheon.

The Thirsty Gods – The followers of the pyramid-building Thirsty Gods came across the sea and pushed out the faith of the Old Gods. A warlike people, they too have fallen to more recent invaders. Still the pantheons continues to be followed in many places, including the halls of the dwarves.

The Bright Gods - The Bright Gods are worshiped by the newest conquerors of the worlds of men. Their sacred number is three, and the gods of their pantheon are divided into three groups of three. Bits of the older pantheons have been incorporated into the current beliefs and rituals of the Bright Gods.

[h=3]Gifts and Curses : A Roleplaying Game by Arya[/h]
(Campaign Ends : Saturday 21st January 2017; 17:50 UTC)

Gifts and Curses is an easy to understand, yet deep, role-playing game. The game focuses on a customization individual magic system, and a marriage between narrative and mechanics.

In most role-playing systems, the spell list s rigid and uninteresting, never magical. Gifts and Curses creates a system that grants each player a customized magic set combined with a single word that is given to the GM by the player. With a focus on backstory, plyers are given skills and knowledge, with the additional option to study or practice new skills. Gifts and Curses does away with an otherwise unnecessary XP system, and instead blends narrative progress and mechanical progress to be one and the same. Without XP, it became increasingly unfair to have human NPCs to have higher HP than the players. So all humans regardless if they were a powerful warrior, mystic mage, or a common farmer would all die mechanically as they would narratively a single good hit.

The process of merging mechanics and narrative has led to a deep system that emphasizes character individuality while creating role-playing moments with true mechanical impact. However, we always keep character creation simple in order to maintain a strong focus on character backstory.
