However, that only works when you already have group members and for our local FLGS where a game is being started up or new people drop in or out at a moment's notice, that doesn't work much at all. (Also, I'm extremely sensitive about giving my phone number out to anyone other than well-known friends/co-workers/relatives I don't hate). My brother uses Discord to organize his games, and while I'm fine with firing it up actively at game time I keep it shut off at other times so it wouldn't be good for me to keep up with what's going on with others and whether they might miss or reschedule.</blockquote>
