Or descended from awakened animals that were created by ancient druidic rites. I mean, otherwise I have to explain how Raven-People have nothing to do with Hawk-People, who are completely unrelated to Owl-People... which seems weird when I can just make &quot;Bird People&quot; and have them all just exhibit different types of birds.
