Put a D&D Dwarf or Elf in 21st century garb, and I think the number of batted eyelids is comparable with the D&D Human.On the flip flip side, even on real world Earth, if you transport a human from one place to another with very different cultural values, ways of life etc. and the locals can identify the outsider very quickly even if the outsider physically resembles the local population.
