RPG Exhange Players...

I'm not at all familiar with gaming conventions and or tournements etc. But I am curious about peoples experiences gaming with people of different nationalities. Kinda like a rpg exchange program. I'm kinda more thinking of private gaming groups.


After reading threads all day here at work I've been thinking it would be very kool to get the chance to play in different groups in other countries all over the world.

Has anyone experienced this type of thing?

Though I have played a couple of live games with people from other countries, they just aren't all that much different from normal games as a whole. The longest experience of international gaming I had was the game in my Story Hour. It was a PbP game, and all four of us were from different countries.

Me in the USA, one played in Wales, another in Austria, and then one in Holland. Other than a few interesting grammatical troubles the Austrian player had here and there, it was just like any other game. Good gamers are all over the world.
