It was inevitable really that Fishblade would become a reality, and Kaja Solska has made the meme real. For those who don’t remember this joke, it popped up during the OGL saga as people would attempt to sell mainstream D&D players on niche indie games with the joking example of “Fishblade, the diceless storytelling game where the party controls one fish with a knife”.
Joshua Justice released Some Ship Combat Rules which is, as one might guess, some ship combat rules. Specifically for Mothership, this 6-page game supplement offers a soft sci-fi action-heavy approach for ship-to-ship combat.
Old School Role Playing is back again with another Cepheus Engine adventure titled Recovery. A scout ship has collected invaluable survey data of new worlds in the Sonora sector and borders beyond, but has been reported missing following a distress call near a rocky world Bealu V.
The roleplaying game Bibliocalypse is set in a world where words and concepts have begun to vanish. The players take on the roles of a group of Rogue Linguists arriving at the threshold of the Forbidden Library in a desperate attempt to retrieve the primordial Lexiconomicon and restore everything before it is lost.
M. Allen Hall released VIP Abduction, a pamphlet-sized module for CY_BORG. The punks have a mission: Kidnap Lukas Tosk. Hijinks ensue.
And for more CY_BORG fun, JKW has Visitor from Elsewhere, the sixth in a series of new character classes. “You hail from a world unknown to humanity, far beyond the outer bounds of the Terran solar system. All data projections point to planet Earth as the site of some great future calamity, one that will resonate throughout the entire universe—but what could it be, and why here?”
If you’re running a sci-fi game and need a quick fill-in adventure, Terry Herc has 1d100 Spaceport Side Hustles. This system-neutral table features a list of quick and easy jobs to use as adventure seeds.
Trey Bryner released Runelords in a New Age: A Return of the Runelords 2e Conversion, a conversion document for the Return of the Runelords Adventure Path into Pathfinder 2nd Edition. You’ll still need the core rules and the entire adventure path to run the campaign.
Cilipepas Chaos has a new map for a location that just screams plot hooks, the Tree Library Battlemap. Built out of a huge tree stump, the library features several rooms in a unique layout with two versions of the map available, with or without grids.
Well, this is probably the highest price I’ve seen for a PWYW title but it’s also one of the most massive: The Nerzugal’s Dungeon Master Toolkit Compendium from Steven Williams features over 1000 pages of content including 30 adventures, 11 dungeons, 40 puzzles, 100+ magic items, 300+ creature stat blocks, 30+ maps, and a mega-adventure.

While GM’s Day was yesterday, DriveThruRPG still has their annual GM’s Day Sale going on with discounts on over 72,000 titles.
EN Publishing has the War of the Burning Sky adventure path for 5E as a bundle on Bundle of Holding. The bundle includes the entire 12-part adventure path set that takes the party from Level 3 to Level 20 as they deal with the aftermath of a great war and shape the future of the realm into a peaceful golden age or scorched under a rain of fire.
Skirmisher Publishing has a bundle for GM’s Day full of sourcebooks and tools to make running games easier from random tables to fully-fledged mini-settings to tips for running games on VTTs.
Over on Dungeonmasters Guild, the Thrilling Tales & Treasure bundle collects nine different adventures in a variety of environmental settings ready to be dropped into any campaign.
If you want even more variety in your character build options, the Untold Subclasses Volume 1 collection has a new subclass for each of the 5e base classes including the artificer from the Bard College of Masque to the Fighter Gladiator to the Rogue Highwayman and more.
We have a pair of useful map bundles. Starting with the Handy Hubs from DeepDark Designs, this collection of fantasy maps includes several places you’re likely to encounter and not think you’ll need a map for them until it’s too late. On Itch.io, Peach Garden Games along with over 100 other creators have put together the Solo but Not Alone 3 bundle with 149 single-player TTRPG titles ranging from introspective journaling exercises to intense hexcrawls supporting suicide prevention.
Over on Bundle of Holding, Arion Games has two bundles for Advanced Fighting Fantasy, the roleplaying game based on the classic adventure gamebooks by Steve Jackson (the British one) and Ian Livingstone. The first is the Starter Collection with Advanced Fighting Fantasy Core Rulebook 2nd Edition along with the Heroes Companion rules expansion, the Sorcery Spell Book magic expansion, and the monster book Out of the Pit. Humble Bundle has the Türkiye-Syria Earthquake Relief Bundle featuring 72 items across video games, RPGs, comics, and more. While there are several AAA video game titles and many games from Turkish companies, the big attraction for RPG fans will be the Starfinder Core Rulebook and the stand-aline adventure Starfinder: Junker’s Delight along with the video game Pathfindder: Kingmaker Enhanced Plus Edition.
While not exactly a roleplaying game product, the classic comic book series ElfQuest definitely shares much of its DNA with fantasy roleplaying. The bundle includes 13 volumes at the top tier with the entire 45-year run of the comics from the original issues all the way through to The Final Quest.
The miniature skirmish game Fallout: Wasteland Warfare is back on Humble.
