Here's the url: http://www.rpgfreelancers.com/subscribe.html .

A single issue is $3.00 and a one year subscription is $20.00. Payable through PayPal.

Sure thing. I was planning on making a preview pdf for it today.:D

To give you an idea of what's in Issue 1: there are entries for 123 RPG Publishers (both d20 and non-d20) which includes the products of the publishers, any submission guidelines they have, as well as any Open Calls and Contests.

There is a listing for Conventions for the month of February, 5 articles written by Freelancers and some mini reviews of rpg products by Derk the Kobold Scholar (along with his image!).

At the end there are a list of links and resources for freelancers, which will be added to as new links are discovered.

Every month, the publishers entries will be updated with their new products and changes to their submission guidelines.

I will also be having a company spotlight and freelancer spotlight in upcoming issues.

I probably shouldn't have to ask, but things are crazy here...

Do I, as a publisher, need to purchase a subscription or do I get a "free" one?

I'll pay, just want to make sure I'm "supposed to" first. ;-)

Is this/will this be just American conventions, or ones in other places (like europe) too? There aren't so many outside the US, but will you list them when they happen?

Sounds like a useful handbook!
I've put my order in for the $3 deal Anna...... it said the file would arrive in 'a moment'. That was half an hour ago....... s'ok I'm just an impatient git i know ;)
Any idea how long it'll take to land in my mailbox? :)

Thanks in advance,
Scott.

All publishers that appear in the guide will get a free issue. Have to do up the mass email for that.

Until I get things set up to send the information automatically, I'm dealing with new subscriptions and single issue purchases by hand.

I'm going to be busy this weekend working on the website to change it over to php and then a database.

The preview will be up in a little while.

(Me thinks me needs a secretary!!:D )

Maybe with people waiting on issues and wanting to pay by credit card you ought to consider using RPGNow.com - even if you have to tag the 20% on top of the $3 base rate I'm sure people will still buy it from us (you know, convenience and payment options).
