I will resoundingly second that. For ages I always felt that I would either be alone or forced to settle for someone who just tolerated me. I found the latter utterly unplatable so I was a solitary creature. Its absolutely wonderful to have someone who unconditionally accepts you and loves you for who you are. Someone who you can discuss LOTR with. Someone to discuss hypothetical comic book charecter fights with. Someone who doesn't laugh when you start talking about Star Trek. Someone who want to roleplay with you (in more ways than one*wink wink*). Someone who considers you the coolest guy on the planet because of all your geeky charecteristics. Sadly the geek girl is a very very rare breed. And they happen to be incredibly shy. Thats not a good thing given that many of us geek guys are pretty shy too. It really unbecoming to gloat, but hey I am so deleriously in love I can't help but talk about my darling. But, and I know that this seems an impossible occurance to us gamer geeks, but my girlfriend asked me out. Later on in our relationship when I asked her why she answered "I knew from talking with you that you weren't like other guys, you were intellegent and, had a sense of humor, and we liked the same kind of music. We just clicked and I knew you were special, and even though I'm really shy I didn't want to let you get away, so I just asked you out." Geek love is a wonderful thing, pure, beautiful and magnificent.
