The press release says the two companies merged equally, and no one is losing their job over this, but doesn't every merger involve some overlap, in terms of the jobs the new conglomerate company will have? For that matter, what were the circumstances that led to the merger in the first place? I don't suspect any sinister motives or anything, I'm just curious why this came to be.</p></blockquote><p></p>
