The RPG stuff in my collection that has seen the most use : D&D : For five years when I started in 84 and then for the last two years with 3E. In between, 1E books were sold, and I didn't touch D&D. Rêve de Dragon : Probably the game that has seen the most use in my collection since 89 when I discovered it. All the people that I play D&D with today have been RDD players alongside me over the years. Nephilim : Although the books have been read and used, I never actually managed to finish a Nephilim campaign. I guess in the end, that as much as I like the game and the setting, it's just too much hard work to GM, and no one else but me wants to do it ;) Fading Suns : Much used during a 2-year campaign a few years back. FS is the only space-op RPG that I ever really enjoyed beyond Star Wars RPG (1st Ed.) which worked more because all the players knew the setting... Jorune : I didn't get to GM or play Jorune that much, but it's such a great setting that it seems to crop back up every few years (I'm in such a phase right now.) MERP : We played MERP for a couple of years back in 89-90, but I don't have much memories of it (apart from the tables.) I guess we never really got a campaign going. Call of Cthulhu : I always tried to have a copy of CoC around (a few got "borrowed" or "lost" over the years) because it's a great game for beginners, IMO. Maléfices : Same as for CoC with the addition that the game was set in early XXth century France and was rules light, making it even more accessible to French players. Haven't used it for years, but there was a time when it got used frequently. Vampire : I ran about four Vampire campaigns between 93 and 97. I loved the flavour of the 1st Edition, which unfortunately was phased out as more stuff was released (there's only so much flavour you can add in a product line, I guess, after a while, you start adding power :( ) Mage : I still believe Mage to be one of the most original game concepts out there. It's inherently hard to maintain in the long run as the growing PC power makes the world balance harder and harder to believe, but it's a great game nonetheless... Werewolf : Also ran a couple of campaigns. I loved the "tribal" feel of the game and have fond memories of a few really rocking sessions. Ars Magica : I don't own much material for Ars Magica, but what I do own got used a bit although, again, no campaign was ever brought to its conclusion. Star Wars (1st Ed.) : Great beginner's game, and light enough mechanics that you could run a game with little to no preparation. Good stuff, one memorable campaign. The above are the games that really saw regular use at some point or another. Then there are lots of RPGs that I own but only played a couple of times. I'm sure I'll forget some of them, but there's at least Capitaine Vaudou, MEGA III, Bushido, Castle Falkenstein, Raoul : Le Jeu qui Sent Sous les Bras, Changeling, Cybergeneration, Lyonnesse, Paranoïa, ... Amazing, looking back, how many different games you manage to play over the years... Edit : If you want to check out the stuff I don't use, it's listed here
