Message: <blockquote data-quote="Heretic Apostate" data-source="post: 1560550" data-attributes="member: 696">Just got whooped by the Balrog, and that was before his Rage kicked in.  (It's sitting at 100%, and I'm NOT going to be the one to get rid of it...) So, how do you veterans do it?  I've got STR of 1082, DEF of 960, HP of 525 and MP of 543.  (Dwarven plate, Greatsword, Short Sword, and Unicorn, with top-of-the-line in everything else.  Five Giant's Strengths and three Perceptivenesses.)  I'm trying to buy the Wyvern now (about 10k short, but I'll get that soon enough...), and I've got the Greatbow (but no enchantment on it yet...).  Don't see enough of a difference between the Shortsword and the best shield to bother changing. So, what now?  Go for Diamond, to replace my Perceptivenesses (and, eventually, Giant Strengths)?  That's about 150 battles against the Death Knight (including healing), each. Can you save the enchantments?  For instance, since I bought Giant Strength, if I upgrade, do I get to keep the enchantment to put on something else? Enquiring minds want to know. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></blockquote>
