Looking for a game in Connecticut (New Haven County)? Want an exiting game of adventure? Dramatic campaigns? Fun game nights? Role playing and monster slaying? Do you want a campaign world that seems believable? Do you want to impact the game world instead of marching wearily through it. Do you want to create a fun and exciting character without worrying about prestige classes, attacks of opportunity or min-maxing your characters in order to “compete”? Not looking forward to 4e?
I believe in incorporating the players in world…Players should be built into the world around them.
This group will meet regularly once a week or possibly bi-weekly. Location: either my non-smoking, non-cat home or some other place to be determined.
Game system: To be determined: Either True 20, HARP, Burning Wheel, BRP or…if all else fails, 3.5 D&D.
I have been a DM since 1981. I am experienced with gaming and DMing and want to start a new game/campaign in April. I can provide DMing references. The games I run often have mature themes or deal with moral, ethical or other quandaries not suitable for those under 21. Experience is not necessary; maturity and sanity IS.
