We sure are... we want to maintain our level of excellence and stay ahead of everyone else.

We also plan to use this info in our forthcoming ePublishing book series to help new publishers do it right the first time.

On the How do you print your pdf?

It depends on the product. I really liked the Parchment of "Everyone Else" so I printed it in color.

One thing I don't like are a lot background colors behind the pics in some books. That takes a lot of ink to print.

The Borders in some books also waste a lot of ink.

While some do offer full color and print versions, the print versions are a little bland. Some line drawings would still be OK.

That gives me another idea for another poll. "What do you dislike the most in a PDF?"

I wish I could have ranked them too... but we have what we have for software and I don't have the time to edit the polling code right now.

Thanks for participating.

Yeah PDF makers should stick to black text on a white background. They can add pictures if they want or borders, but please no coloured pages!!! Or coloured text on coloured pages.

a) Its usually harder to read on the screen,
b) Its takes loads of ink on a colour printer,
c) Its almost impossible to read AND uses lots of toner on a B&W laser.

You want a good example of this Cold Vistor is a great adventure but the coloured background to every page is just stupid.

The Book of Curses was the one I couldn't remember last night. Each page has a two inch black border. Ouuch!
