Very high fantasy, and very high magic, though most Stagnetians are level 10 or less. As such, the magic is more of a product of the world itself than the people. Each of the six primary Stagnetian kingdoms has at least one class paragon of some high level (12+), which fulfills a gubernatorial, class appropriate role in that kingdom. Sherbet (CG), Clr15 (Temple leader), Brd 14 (In the town itself) Phonix (NG), Ftr12 (North) and Bbn12(South). Both are generals of the opposing armies. Lonned Algej (LN), Wiz14, Imperator of the Mages' Council. Ophelia (CN), Drd16 (Applied Geomantic Research Group, High Leader) Dramavia (N), Sor15 (Illusionist and master of a Cavern of Trials) Immanuel (LG), Pal13, High Knight of Revan. As for the poor cleric, Devin would be almost unable to eat, and they'd pretty much have to almost force him to continue living or eating for the time being. At this point, he would also be under a fair bit of depression (as much as someone with 18 WIS can be depressed), and gain a less than healthy obsession with the world of the dead. PROTIP: Superior, a Clr15, is capable of Discern Location and Greater Scrying. It's nothing at all to inspire him to get a Clr10 with the Travel domain out there to sort it out. Step 1: Discern Location Step 2: Greater Scrying Step 3: Message, "I scryed on you guys a while ago and noticed one of your allies needed dire assistance. I'll send someone over to help out." Step 4: Clr9 envoy with Travel Domain teleports to location (all Taras clerics of 5th or greater have Studied Carefully all places of Stagnetia, and Superior himself is Very Familiar with all of them.) Step 5: Envoy restores Devin Step 6: Envoy teleports out. Step 7: Profit. The whole thing would take 30 minutes to do, including preparations, social interaction and the like. However, it reeks of Deus Ex Machina, and I'm not sure if it's worth that. Then again, much divination is a tiny bit DXM by nature, so I'll think it over.
