Since she's spending a standard and move action each round to talk, she'll proceed at an extremely casual pace, abstracting a 5-foot-step over 6 seconds as sort of a very slow walk following after Marie. Once he becomes helpful or better, she'll stop activating both Fascinate (which drops, but shouldn't matter any more) and Emotion Control (which remains until someone dispels or nullifies it) and move with Marie at a faster pace.
