It's neat. I'm not specifically sure this is magazine (or whatever whiners...erm, fans wanna call the magazines now) content as it's listed as "free". Also, I think it's not meant for serious questions, just one-off simple questions that don't need a WotC spin team to answer.

Hey, at least it won't get put into the compiled issue... ;-P

I'm pretty sure we can do without the gratuitous insult that's designed to make people angry. Avoid that, please. ~ PCat

The answers were a little short, but not too short. I guess I wanted more from the Vampire answer. Also, pretty lame they couldn't find three actual questions to use.

However, I'm glad they are doing something like this.

Yeah that's what I thought too. Anyone reading the questions would seek out how you send in their own. Or they could have had a link on the page without wasting a question.

Can I assume the article isn't about the marquis cambion and likely child of Graz'zt named "Rule-of-Three" from Planescape?

Got my hopes up given the name and that it appears to be a free article. Except every time I try to view it, the *mutter* WotC website drops a gigantic flash window advertisement for some module on top of the page which refuses to close and let me actually read what I went there for.

It's not about that Rule-of-Three, unfortunately. Here's what it's about...

You’ve got questions—we’ve got answers! Here’s how it works—each week, our Community Manager will be scouring all available sources to find whatever questions you’re asking. We’ll pick three of them to answer, whether about the about the making of the game, the technical workings of our DDI studio, or anything else you care to know about… with some caveats.

There are certain business and legal questions we can’t answer (for business and legal reasons). And if you have a specific rules question, we’d rather point you to Customer Service, where representatives are ready and waiting to help guide you through the rules of the game. That said, our goal is provide you with as much information we can—in this and other venues.

To start things off, we’ve selected two questions we’ve seen floating around, and a third that, frankly, we’re asking ourselves for the sake of answering.

I suppose the title "Rule of Three" kind of rules out them answering more than 3 questions every week. In essence a good idea in attempting to interact with the community, let's hope it eventually becomes useful.

Best Regards

I actually really like the vampire being implemented as a class and I like their idea of using mutli-classing rules to handle vampires who do magic or other stuff on the side.

I actually really don't like it.
But in a way it's only consequent: The existing 4e classes were already devoid of any in-game relevance. Class names are just convenient labels for archetypes. So, I shouldn't be surprised by the vampire 'class'.
