Rules for NPC/Monster Healing Surges?

So with KotS in the hands of many people now, is there any indication on what the rules are for Healing Surges for monsters or NPCs?

It's not mentioned. We're still at the "Easy to remember number that is not 0 or 1" stage.

I expect it's either 2 or 4, so pick your favorite for now.

Since Second Wind is usable just once per combat, it wouldn't be too bad. Even if a monster cleric had a healing word power, it wouldn't be too bad...if the recharge was 6, in example.

This came up a little while ago (oh, a month or so ago) and one of the WotC people said that NPCs have healing surges and that "it's easy to remember, and it's not 1".

Most guess that it's 1+(1/2 level).

Sounds too complicated to me. If it involved math, it would be worth putting in the stat block.
Besides, even the PC's healing surges are not level dependent.

I bet that it's 4. That would allow NPCs and monsters to heal their whole HP once, no matter what their level.
