D&D General Running D&D at a town library for players that sign up.

As the title, our local library has offered D&D in the past, and I'm going to offer to DM. It's light on details at the moment, but I'm looking for advice.
It'll be 5e.

Any tips you all have?
Any suggested adventures?
Things to avoid?
Personal experiences doing this (or something similar) you'd like to share?
Other threads that already cover this?

Sorry for the late reply.

My local library has approved my club where I live. Here is what I did:

Got in touch with the manager of the library saying all supplies would be provided by me, all they would need to provide is time and space for the event.

I also established the age ratings of the group and what would be and not be allowed. Things such as player behavior and what not.

As for adventure Lost Mines of Phandelver (not sure about spelling) is good to start with.

Expect people to cancel on the group because life may get busy but always keep the character sheets.

Allow players to change their character’s race if they wish.

I would like to volunteer like this, but not sure I can commit.

I would come to yours, but I see your way down by the Cape and I'm past Worcester going the other way.
