[QUOTE="Angel Tarragon, post: 2416790, member: 23733"] KARACHI (July 16 2005): The rupee shed two paisa for a dollar on the buying side at 59.61 and it slid three paisa for selling at 59.63, respectively. The rupee almost maintained its overnight levels versus the dollar and euro in the open market on Friday, moneychangers said. The rupee was nearly inert versus the euro for buying and selling at Rs 73.00 and Rs 73.20 in the process of modest trading, dealers said. They said that single European currency might sustain the present levels versus the rupee as it is also retaining its value in terms of the world currencies. The rupee was unchanged in relation to the dollar for buying and selling at 60.45 and 60.50, respectively. In the international markets, the dollar slipped marginally versus the major currencies in range-bound trading in the absence of fresh leads, dealers said.
