Message: <blockquote data-quote="Arkhandus" data-source="post: 1247451" data-attributes="member: 13966">Torgar, Griddle, and Fleown settled down at a table in the Broken Anchor Alehouse and had a hearty meal of roasted hog, some cheese, lots of ale, and a few other things.  They discussed whether or not there was anything to do in Rothinos or Rhaavin in general, and Griddle mentioned that the group might be able to do some work for one of the two Druid Groves of Rhaavin, or maybe some work for (or against) the thieves' guild, or hunt some gnolls for the 10-gp-bounty on gnoll heads, as gnolls were stirring up trouble in the southwest of Rhaavin's main island.  While discussing the latter, a young mage named Aden Moore chimed in and joined the group for some gnoll-hunting. The party sought out a local man called Old Man Tripper, who was known for a particularly successful tactic he used many times before to lure in and slay gnoll packs.  He would drive a large, wealthy-looking wagon or cart out through the wilderness roads and lure in gnolls who thought the old codger's cart would be easy plunder.....  And when they attacked, the cart or wagon would open up to reveal a squad of experienced warriors, slaughtering the hapless gnolls.  Fleown, Griddle, Torgar, and Aden went to the old man's house in the northwest corner of Rothinos, and spoke with the elder.  Old Man Tripper had lost his legs during a storm at sea, and was now rather grizzled and bitter, but offered to help out the party when they mentioned the gnoll hunting.  After a brief chat, the party left to seek out some help for fighting the gnolls, and to figure out what sort of plan to use......</blockquote>
