[QUOTE="Manzanita, post: 3303514, member: 10109"] The mounted orc wheels his mount, but hardly begins his next charge when he is cut down by magic missiles and the thrown mindblade. Juliana then steps forward and cuts down the blinded orc. [battle over] The party is standing in the dirt road, presumably not far from Braeholl. They have just been attacked without provocation by 5 orcs, one of whom has left a heavy warhorse on the road. Juliana's light warhorse has been killed (quite dead), and Eusebius' mule has trotted off towards Braeholl, though it has now stopped some 50 feet down the road at a patch of grass. The party estimates it is about half an hour until nightfall. The road to Braeholl runs South-South-East. Immediately before they were attacked, the party recalls that two figures dashed across the road in front of them from East to West The halflings both noticed that they seemed human and wore red bandanas around their necks. The orc emerged from the west side of the road behind them. XP award 2: [sblock] I had meant to assign XPs before this combat with the orcs. I forgot. So I'm assigning them now, retroactively. If you level up (& I believe Eusebius does), please do so immediately, and assume you had done so before the orc combat. Encounter 1: 4 wargs, two assassins (who escaped): 700 XPs for Juliana & Boog, 840 for Beamer, Banion & Eusebius. Two months time spent (Nov 9, 2006 to Jan 9, 2007), 500 for Juliana & Boog. 400 for B, B & E. Totals: 1200 XPs for Juliana & Boog 1240 XPs for Banion, Beamer & Eusebius[/sblock] [/QUOTE]
