The group splits up and heads into the war-weary town. The group seems to be trusted, and no guard is sent with them. Hugh does stay with the group and leads them first to the stables. Here they can settle themselves in with the soldiers and their horses. The town seems undamaged directly by war, but it is full of refugees, the tired and the wounded. Holbrae is a town of about 1500 souls, normally, mostly humans and half-elves. It's population is currently about double that. It serves as the main town in this North central area of The Vastermarch, and, as such, has numerous temples, markets and government buildings. The economy is mostly based on agriculture and timber. Many horses were lost in the chaotic battle with the orcs earlier in the day. (I actually believe all the horses fled, except the two that were killed. Juliana's may have stayed.) The party did get a second wagon, though, that was Tharok's and pulled the heavily armored ogre. That came with two draft horses, some food, ogre manure, and two bags of 100 gps. Juliana uses one of those horses to take Torvin to the temple of Hyrag. Hugh leads him there, then heads back to the stables to help the rest of the group integrate. Hugh proves helpful, and has become quite loyal to the group, particularly to Ogrin. He can be overheard telling other soldiers and civilians about the group's escapades, which become slightly greater each retelling. He seems particularly impressed that Ogrin used his healing potion to save the life of the boy. Tired, but safely in the stables, the group now circles Tharok as he awakens. He is an ugly half-orc, middle aged, with sharp, cruel features denoting intelligence. He opens his eyes and slowly takes in the scene. He scowls and turns away. Juliana finds the temple to be crowded, having been turned into a makeshift hospital. All healing spells have already been used by the clerics there, but word of Torvin's appearence quickly gets attention. He is given a place of honor next to the statue of Hyrag in the center of the temple, and the acolyte assures Juliana he will be given promt attention in the morning after prayer.
