My god, why is it so hard to find a good group?
I live in the Arden area, and I'm looking for a casual group. If there is one already established that might be looking for a player, great! Otherwise, I'm also completely willing to DM a completely new group!
This is what I would like to play:
I would like to play once a week or once every other week over the weekend (Friday or Saturday, but regularly only one or the other) for 4-6 hours a session. We all have busy lives and work schedules, and I am definitely considering gaming as a hobby: not a lifestyle priority. Whatever works best for the group, even including weekday evenings if that works better.
would like to DM games at my home, an apartment in the Arden area, east of the mall. I am hoping to find three to four players. Beginners and experts are all welcome.

I would like to find a group with players that put thought and effort into their characters and are willing to become engaged in a campaign storyline. Power gaming and min/maxing are welcome, as long as the "roleplaying" and creative aspects of character creation are not sacrificed.
I'm sorry if I am being way to specific... But I know the type of people with whom I would like to run a game. I hope you're reading, and would like to play.

- Generic Setting or Eberron (depending on group taste)
- Healthy mix of combat, character development, and plot
- Starting at 1st level, progressing (eventually, hopefully) to 30th

- Reliable transportation
- Good personal hygiene
- A steady job

- The maturity of a 12 year-old
- Anyone still living with parents
- Misogynists
- Those using their characters to vicariously fulfill their own hedonistic desires
- Those that find "cleavage" intrinsically funny
