Sale at the Game Keeper

The Game Keeper has some RPG books 50% off at the moment. There isn't too much as far as 3rd ed D&D and general D20, just Living Greyhawk Gazetteer, Enemies and Allies, both Creature Collections by SSS, Diablo 2 To Hell and Back as well as Diablerie (don't hold me to the specific books though), and one more 3e book by WotC (I believe it was the Hero Builder's Guidebook). All of the Star Wars RPG products were 50% off except the New Jedi Order Sourcebook and Tempest Feud (which I didn't see and was only released this month anyway). Finally all of the 2nd edition books that had were also 50% off.

For anyone in the Albany, NY area it was the store in Crossgates Mall I went to.

It's true, I just went over to check my own local Game Keeper (Lombard IL).

I don't think the woefully underinformed git at the counter knew exactly which items were "select" so I just told him to give me everything at 50% off.

I don't have the guts to do that. Though I did ask the guy a couple times to price check some things, not everything was stickered and I figured if most of the other SW stuff was on sale then the rest probably were too.

Of course my annoying brother had to go and ask for some stuff he didn't initially want, so now I have to go back.

Well what do you know? I may actually have a reason to visit Game Keeper. I knew they had to be good for something... (No offense to those of you out there that may actually know of a good Game Keeper store).

I'm out of practice and unfortuantely dwarven charm is the only kind I have.

I like dwarves.

Seriously, unless you encounter an easily manipulated idiot it won't work. The actual price comes up when products are scanned, so you won't get away with it if someone who knows what they're doing is there (like say the manager). Plus it always annoyed me when people did it to me, so I won't do it myself.
