Message: <blockquote data-quote="LuYangShih" data-source="post: 1159071" data-attributes="member: 10414">Aku is one of the greatest villians ever created.  But Samurai Jack is perhaps the greatest hero ever created.  I do not want to see the series ending after only forty or so episodes, but I have to admit they have covered a great deal of ground in the past episodes.  I would rather the show end on a high note than continue into mediocrity.  I would really rather the show continue on a high note for a long time, but if the creator does not think that is possible I can understand.[spoiler]Given the episode with the Knight, who was guarding the time portal, I expect that Jack will have to unite everyone across the land against Aku.  Perhaps Aku cannot be defeated through the blade alone.  Perhaps he feeds off of the evil he creates and spreads across the land.  Indeed, since Jack has been turning back this oppressive evil, it may be that which has hurt Aku most.  I expect Aku is ordering those monolthic statues of himself built for more of a reason than simple ego.After all, he was once a godlike entity.  Perhaps he seeks to return to his former status by creating a focal point for the energies upon which he is based.  Perhaps the only way to beat Aku permanently is to strengthen everyones spirits with good, righteous qualities that will drain him of his power.  Anyway, just a theory.  Given that the blade alone was not enough to truly defeat Aku when he first appeared, I doubt it will be enough to truly finish him now.  I really think the series does a great job tying itself into previous episodes.  Jacks father did say that the mind and the heart were the true key to defeating Aku.[/spoiler]</blockquote>
