My friend Andy and I aren't getting our fix well enough in our weekly Sunday game, so we're looking to join a game on Saturdays.
We're both mature gamers, and easy to get along with. I'm a bit of a control freak, but work hard to rein it in, and Andy's a smoker, but always takes it outside.
Because I already DM one game -- the aforementioned Sundays -- I'm looking to join a group with a happy and established DM. Similarly, Andy and I are both looking for a group that has some real commitment to playing regularly ... both of us will make the effort to arrange our schedule around the standing appointment of the game, rather than vice-versa, and we're hoping to find people who are willing to do the same.
As a bonus, I can offer (1) a good table to play on, and when my roommate moves out, an entire room devoted to gaming, (2) an RPG and DVD library you probably wouldn't believe until you saw it, and (3) a huge selection of D&D miniatures and a fair amount of Master Maze dungeon terrain.
Due to past iffy experiences, Andy and I would like to meet as many players as possible -- at the very least the DM -- in a casual setting before play. Even if it's only a discussion of play styles over coffee, I think meeting like that is very helpful. If you're in or run the kind of game we're interested in, you'll understand.
Finally, we do have room for a single player in the Sunday game mentioned. As above, we'd want to meet before making any commitments.
