My friend (a player in my 3.5 game) wants to DM a Pathfinder game. He has never DMed before, but he has played D&D (3e, PF, 4e) for several years.
We're looking for a couple of players to join the game. We like to play long games, but if we can only get a few hours in every other week, that's fine. We'll figure up a schedule once we know what everyone's week is like. We just ask that you not bail on the game over & over.
Powergamers and rules lawyers will not fit in with our play style. We also like to roleplay, so we are not interested in playing with someone that will not join in with the roleplaying.
My friend seems to be excited and optimistic to DM, so I don't want him to be discouraged from DMing due to an argumentative player. So we'd like an easy going person that would help make DMing fun for a rookie.
You don't need any experience with D&D or Pathfinder. I've never played PF before, but I'm learning the changes. We'll be glad to help you out any way we can.
I host the games at my house, so we would like to meet in person at a public place first to make sure that we will get along and that I can trust having you in my home. We're in our early 30's and I have a wife & a 7 month old son. It's a family home, so no drugs are allowed (drinking is fine if you can handle yer liquor). Smoking tobacco is ok outside on the patio.
If interested, shoot me an email at oryan1977 at yahoo.com. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
