Hello All, I am running a group every other week and we are looking for a few more players. We are using the True20 rule system because of it's flexibility for both "d&d" type of games, modern, future /and/ supernatural games. The reason? The current game is planned to be some time-hopping, dimension crossing fun. I just started the game a few weeks ago, and it is picking up momentum. The game is set on earth circa 1763 in Spain, extremely low magic (more theoretical magic than actual magic, but two of the pc's are some of the few that actual perform magic) with the players being assistants to primary figures in the royal court. If you'd like to be in early and know why you'd be chasing a potential wizard through a nasty summer storm across the Mediterranean Sea, then please, give me a shout. About the group: Currently the group has three players consisting of my wife, and two of our friends. We have been gaming together for the past few years, first in Santa Cruz then on this side of the hill. We are all in our early 30's and are mature adults (most of the time...) The group is pretty child friendly seeing as how I have a four year old son, and our friends and a five year old daughter. We try to get together either on Saturday or Sunday, which is dependent on how work schedules shake out. We generally try to game from about 5-6pm until about midnight. The games are usually hosted at my apartment, which is near the corners of Branham and Snell in south san jose. Parking is usually not a problem, the complex hasn't gotten to hardcore about parking time limits, but worst case there is a shopping center at the corner that is about a 2-3 minute walk away that visitors can park at. Other games: We have played other systems in the past such as d&d 3.5/4e, the White Wolf system and L5R 3e, and sometimes we might take a break from one system/game for a month or two and try something else so that one person doesn't take the full strain of game mastering if they don't have the time due to other real life concerns. Hope to hear from some people! Jim
