Master of the Game
First Post
I'm looking to start a weekly DnD game in the San Marcos area, most likely to play on Saturday evenings, but I'm willing to reschedule, as players may need.
I'm a DM with nearly 23 years of playing experience, the vast majority of which were spent Game Mastering. Our group traditionally plays DND, Spycraft, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and the occasional Home-brew.
After recently completing long-running Spycraft and Shadowrun games I’m back in the mood for a little good old-fashioned DnD. Unfortunately, however, because of military deployment, marriages, new children, and my move 50 miles from our old north Austin stomping grounds, much of my group needs to be rebuilt.
I’m looking for 2 to 4 players; experience (or lack thereof) is not an issue who are willing to play at my home 6 miles outside of San Marcos. As a word of warning, I have a two year old, so family-friendly players are much preferred. Current players are in their late 20s, early 30s, but younger/older players are welcome.
As for the game: We’ll be using the 3.5 Edition DnD rules with a few third-party sourcebooks thrown in for color (most notably Monte Cook’s Arcana Evolved), and the occasional light house rule (for in-game reasons access to the outer planes has been severed, so spells/items requiring or interacting with such planes will be less than effective), but no major changes.
If you are interested, or would like more information on the group/game/rules please feel free to email me at the link in my profile.
