Chick (et. al.) posit that playing a fantasy game of magic is no different than using and worshiping that magic in real life. It is a fallacy that is sad to see in adults and sickening when it is forced onto children. In the sections that I quoted, Satine is promoting the same sad, sick fallacy. She is saying that her past spent mastering a game of fantasy magic has given her power of real magic inside of people's minds. This is dangerous and toxic on multiple levels. First, it's always a major problem to make claims that you can help people with mental health issues when you have no real qualifications or training. And, to my original point, she is actually saying that Chick was right. She is claiming to have the powers of Ms. Frost from Dark Dungeons, but believes that's okay because she's here to save Black Leaf instead of kill her. And that's a problem. A big problem. IMNSHO. My takeaway from these interviews is that she's committed to moving on without learning any of the lessons she needed to.</blockquote>
