Savage Tide Advice - Please no spoilers.

Out of the four PCs in our Savage Tide game, only two are real damage dealers, and they're melee types. There are opportunities for information gathering in a lot of the tide, but I'd suggest you take an additional area of expertise - scouting is great, but I think enchantment would work wonders.

Hammer,

I guess I was in awe of Master Specialist's abilities with other schools. But Loremaster does make more sense.

Sigurd,

It's up to you what you want to do. Me, I'd prefer to keep evocation but if you want to drop it, that's fine.

Wycen,

It's better than a fighter that takes Vow of Non-violence. ;)

I was trying to think how to make such a crappy decision a viable play option. So, you say the fighter is a flagellant, for whatever reason. He thus acts like a damage sponge. So he takes Endurance, Diehard and all other feat is Toughness. Truly a meat shield ;)

Or you use grapples, trips, disarms, Intimidates, etc. And just beat the hell out of any creature not protected by the Vow of Non-Violence.

Ditch Illusion(though you miss out on Mirror image/Displacement/Greater invis); or
Enchantment(lose Dominate/charm, etc...); or
Necromancy(lose False Life, enervation, etc...)

I'd ditch Necromancy, myself, or up the list in that order.

Meat Grinder

As a note from Wycen's DM, I believe that's 2-and-a-half Wands, correct? Last session you snapped the empty stick in two to prove a point, and I remember you "handing" another player a wand, but it was empty in the 4th-or-so adventure.

In other words, there is a Wand of Cure Light retail shop that has Wycen's party as a "Favorite Customers." :p

Wycen and Hammer,

The guy wanted to be considered for either martyrdom or sainthood. In Age of Worms.

You tell me, is that a poor choice or what?
