Savage Worlds digital concordance?

Another question about SW:

For some time now I have had a digital concordance of most of the Pathfinder books on my iPhone and iPad (PFRPG rd). I can search by keyword and the program will list pages where those keywords exist across many books.

To be honest, it has sort of spoiled me on looking up rules when running and playing games!

I wonder if Savage Worlds might have something similar. Does it? Would be great to have while I'm learning the game.

No, there's no system reference document of any kind, as the Savage Worlds rules are not released under the OGL.

Pinnacle Entertainment Games and Studio2 Publishing do, however, actively support the sale of PDFs on their own Web site, and through DriveThruRPG.

But seriously --- you can't afford $10 to pick up the Deluxe Explorer's Edition rules? :uhoh: ;)

If you have general questions about the system itself, feel free to ask / PM me or amerigoV

Welcome new Savage!

One thing that helps with Savage Worlds is there is not a ton of system bloat. 99% of the time its either in the Core rule book or its in the Setting you are running. The other 1% is GM and Player agreeing to add something specific, but its rarely needed IMO. The other place something may pop up is in the Companions (Fantasy, Horror, Sci Fi, Supers), but they really are for you to use as a toolkit to make your own setting/conversion in place of a published setting. The published settings are designed to be self contained with the core rules.

In other words, you do not have to worry about searching through "Players Guide 1", "Player Guide 2", ... etc to find out what obscure Edge or Power someone is using.

I think on Savageopedia someone might have compiled where you can find certain edges and creatures, but I am not sure that is kept up.

Be sure to hang out at peginc.com's boards. They are the nicest and most helpful folks!
