I've Got My Stuff Well after a few stuff-ups and long delays I finally have my Savage Worlds books. Our group brought sev copies of SW Explorer's Ed, a couple of Deadlands Player's Guides, Marshall HB, The Flood, DM Screen, SW Fantasy Companion & Weird Wars II core book. I must say one thing...WOW! I haven't been this excited reading RP books since, well, not sure, probably 1E AD&D, or maybe 3E, or maybe Star Wars Saga edition (and 4E at first, though the initial Players books aren't much to read). Anyway, all that for another time. The books are of a much higher 'production' quality than I was expecting. They are fantastic and I will certainly be lashing out on more Savage Settings simple for the joy of devouring. (Recommendations???) I would like to thank all of you that have answered Q's re the rules whilst I waited for these books. Secondly I would like to thank the guys at Studio 2 Publishing, who handle the orders SW. They have been amazing, maintaining contact throughout the delays and threw in several freebies to compensate, and apparently, b/c we put in such a large order for all the way Down Under. Awesome guys and I will certainly order directly through you guys in the future :) I read the Core Book (barring every power and monster description), a bit of the fantasy companion and most of Weird Wars (again barring most stats) in two nights. I am at work now and blame you Savages for being tired right now...ooh, but it is lunch. Gotta go...and read some more. C
