The Slacerians appear to have existed before the coming of the titans as well as the gods.Now what this has to do with the price of tea in China is this:Perhaps THIS is actually where the dreaded Mind Flayers hail from. A kind of Eden where they were exposed to some of the more sinster aspects of the Slacerian nature, especially this regard to their own superioty. Think about it. The Slacerians didn't have anything to hurt them or make them fear, other than themselves. Thus it's very likely they created the Illithids as kind man servant and/or status symbol. Perhaps that's also why the Mind Flayers, though religious in some degree, don't hold well with clerics or druids. They see them as either charaltans or perhaps just pretenders to their powers. So give you comments folks. I'd be happy to discuss them with you.Debate 2. Slitheren/Ratmen, are they really becoming a society or merely imitating it? If they are becoming a society, it's certainly looks like it will be one to challenge the divine races, especially given their fecundity. If they are imitating it, perhaps there might be way to alter their thinking, perhaps by sending out converts. Who can say though? Myself, I do think they might be becoming a society and thus perhaps, a new kind of race that will dominate both above and below ground.  Thoughts comments and other debates are welcomed.</blockquote>
